This Carne Asada Marinade combines olive oil, lime juice, fresh cilantro, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to infuse steak with bright, savory, and spicy flavors. It tenderizes and enhances the beef before grilling.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 3 lime juiced (about 6 tablespoons
  • ½ cup cilantro chopped, fresh
  • 4 garlic minced, cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Whisk all of the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl. 
  2. Pour the marinade on top of the steak, ensuring both sides of the steak are well coated.
  3. Cover and marinate for 1-4 hours in the refrigerator, before grilling.
