Carnitas Marinade
Tangy and fresh, this easy to make Carnitas Marinade will leave your meat tender, juicy and flavorful. A combination of citrus, warm spices, jalapeño, fresh cilantro and garlic is perfect for using with pork or chicken to make tender and crispy carnitas!

Ingredients
- 1 medium orange juiced
- 1 lime juiced
- ¼ cup avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ bunch cilantro diced
- 1 medium jalapeño seeds and membranes removed, chopped
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon Coriander
- ½ teaspoon Mexican oregano
- 3 garlic cloves smashed
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients for the marinade together in a jar or a cup.
- Place the meat marinating into a large resealable bag or large container.
- Pour the marinade over the top and coat the meat.
- Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours up to overnight.

- Amount: this marinade is for 1-2 pounds of meat. If marinating more meat increase the amount of marinade.
