Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 C flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 C unsalted butter (room temp)
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 3/4 C packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs (room temp)
  • 2 C semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. -Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prep a 10" cast iron skillet with baking spray.
  2. -Add flour, baking soda and salt together in a small bowl.
  3. -With electric mixer beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a bowl until creamy.
  4. -Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. -Add in flour mixture. Add the chocolate chips. Mix well.
  6. -Press the cookie dough evenly into the skillet.
  7. -Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. -Cool in the skillet to cool completely.

Notes

  • This cookie recipe is great for a quick weeknight dessert but fancy enough to bring to a family gathering. Enjoy!
