Celery Salt

Ingredients

  • 1 cup celery leaves packed, stems removed
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200℉.
  2. Lay celery leaves out in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking tray. Bake for 12-17 minutes until the celery leaves are completely dried. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Place the dried leaves in a food processor and pulse to grind it into a fine powder.
  4. Toss with the salt to mix well.
  5. Store in a cool dry place.

Notes

  • Makes approximately 4 teaspoons of celery salt.
  • Store in a spice jar with a tight-fitting lid for 6-12 months.
