Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Roast Cumin seeds in a heavy wok on slow flame till you smell the aroma or a crack sound or they are light browned. Keep all the spices and the jar container in the sun for an hr or so. This can be done a day before.
  2. Once the cumin cools off. blend all spices together in a blender jar.
  3. The Chaat Masala is ready. Enjoy it with fresh fruits or chana chaat, shakarkandi chaat.

Notes

  • Roast spices on slow flame. You won't like the burnt flavor of any spice in a spice blend.
  • Use fresh spices
  • You may store the chaat masala in a dry glass container with a lid in cool place in the kitchen. It will be good for 3-4 months.
