Charoset (Apple and Walnut Salad)

Traditionally served on the Passover Seder plate, charoset is an apple and walnut salad made with sweet honey and red wine.

Ingredients

  • 3 red apples (any variety, cored and diced)
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ¼ cup red wine (such as Manischewitz)

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and toss well. Let sit for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • This recipe tastes even better the next day so feel free to prep-ahead!
