Cheater's Chicken Parmesan

This easy and quick recipe for Chicken Parmesan is simple to make and uses crispy breaded chicken tenders to save time.

Ingredients

  • 4 large breaded chicken tenders
  • ¼ C marinara sauce or pasta sauce or passata, plus extra for serving
  • 1 oz grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz grated Mozzarella cheese
For serving:
  • cooked pasta of your choice
  • marinara sauce or pasta sauce
  • chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Place breaded chicken tenders onto the baking sheet and bake according to the package directions.
  2. Flip the chicken tenders about halfway through the baking time.
  3. In the meantime, add marinara or pasta sauce to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-low.
  4. Remove chicken tenders from oven and spoon about 1 tablespoon of warm marinara sauce on top of each chicken tender.
  5. Add grated parmesan and mozzarella cheese over each chicken tender and continue baking for another 12-13 minutes.
  6. Remove the chicken tenders from the oven.
  7. To serve, place cooked pasta on a plate and top with pasta sauce and chicken parm.
  8. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  9. Serve immediately.
