Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese freshly grated, sharp
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley dried
  • black pepper freshly ground, dash
  • 3/4 cup pecans finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the pecans, and mix to combine.
  2. Using a spatula, scrape the mixture together into a lump. Lightly grease your hands and shape the mixture into a round ball.
  3. Put the chopped pecans in a large shallow bowl. Carefully roll the cheese ball over the pecans to coat it. You can also use your hands to press the pecans onto it.
  4. Wrap the cheese ball in cling wrap and refrigerate for about 1-3 hours to firm up before serving.
