Ingredients
- 6 cups water or Milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups Uncooked Grits
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot with the water and salt to a boil.
- Add the grits in and stir. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot with a lid stirring periodically for 5-6 minutes.
- Stir in the butter, cheddar cheese, and parmesan cheese until it's melted and combined. Serve warm!
