Ingredients
- 8 ounces lean ground beef
- 14 ounces canned petite diced tomatoes undrained
- 8 ounces cream cheese cubed
- 4 ounces processed cheese loaf such as Velveeta*, cubed
- ¼ cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Optional Toppings
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ⅔ cup crispy fried onions optional
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- burger toppings as desired, pickles, tomatoes, red onion etc.
Instructions
- Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until no pink remains, about 6 minutes. Drain any fat.
- Add the diced tomatoes, cream cheese, processed cheese, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Reduce the heat to medium and stir until melted and blended together. Allow to sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
- In a small bowl, combine cheddar cheese, french fried onions, and sesame seeds. Sprinkle over the dip. Garnish with additional burger toppings as desired.
- Serve with tortilla chips or crostini.

Notes
- Replace Velveeta with 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese. If using, melt the cream cheese and remove it from the heat before stirring in the shredded cheese, as overheating can cause it to separate.
- French fried onions can be lightly heated in a dry skillet until toasted.
