Cheesy Air Fryer Broccoli
Perfectly roasted broccoli topped with gooey cheddar cheese, ready in just 10 minutes. A quick and delicious side dish made in the air fryer!
Ingredients
- 2 heads broccoli cut into florets
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cut the broccoli heads into evenly sized florets if not already done. Mince the garlic.
- In a large mixing bowl or a sealable bag, combine the broccoli florets, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the broccoli is evenly coated.
- Place the coated broccoli florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the broccoli is tender-crisp and lightly browned.
- Open the air fryer and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the broccoli. Close the air fryer and cook for 1 additional minute, or until the cheese has melted.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
- Other Cheese Options: While cheddar is a classic choice, you can easily switch it up with other cheeses that melt well. Try shredded mozzarella, gouda, Monterey Jack, or a blend of cheeses in the same amount.
