Cheesy Baked Taco Dip
The ultimate cheesy baked taco dip is an easy appetizer made with layers of cream cheese, taco seasoned ground beef or turkey, beans, salsa & guacamole!

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup onions diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 pound ground turkey or beef
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning click link for homemade recipe
- 16 ounce jar salsa
- 15 ounce can black beans drained & rinsed
- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 4 ounce can diced green chilies
- 2 cups spicy cheddar cheese or pepper jack cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup guacamole click link for easy recipe
- 2 tablespoons green onions diced
- ½ cup tomatoes diced
Serve With
- 10 ounce bag tortilla chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions, cook 3 minutes, add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the ground turkey and cook until no longer pink.
- Once the turkey is cooked through, drain any grease, then add the taco seasoning, salsa and black beans. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In the meantime, combine the cream cheese and green chilies in a small bowl. Spread in the bottom of an oven-safe baking dish.
- Top with the ground turkey mixture and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with the guacamole, green onions and tomatoes.
- Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
