This cheesy chicken tater tot casserole is comfort food perfection. It's made with a rich creamy soup filling loaded with tender bites of chicken and green beans, layered with melty cheddar cheese, and topped with crispy, golden-brown tater tots. Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
- 12 ounces frozen green beans
- 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup (1 can)
- 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup (1 can)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 12 oz sharp cheddar cheese
- 16 ounces frozen tatertots (about half a bag)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400˚F.
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, green beans, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt and pepper, and one cup of cheese.
- Transfer mixture to a 2 quart casserole dish. Top with the remaining cheese, then layer the top with tatertots.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the edges are bubbling and the casserole is hot throughout.

Notes
- Tater tots and green beans can be added to the casserole frozen. If you have time to thaw them, the casserole will take less time to cook in the oven.
