Cheesy Potato Casserole
Simple, savory, and cheesy, this is the perfect one-dish side for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds hash browns thawed, frozen shredded
- 1/2 cup butter melted, unsalted
- 1 .5-ounce can cream of chicken soup condensed
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup onion finely chopped
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper ground
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together the thawed hash browns, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese, and black pepper until well combined.
- Transfer the hash brown mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
- Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
