Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling (1 can)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a pie plate with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine butter, brown sugar, all-purpose flour and quick oats.
  3. Use half of this mixture as a pie crust, pack firm in a prepared pie plate.
  4. Add cherry pie filling on top of crust.
  5. Sprinkle other 1/2 of oat mixture on top of the pie filling.
  6. Bake crumble in preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or until brown on top. Remove from oven and let cool 10-15 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
