Cherry Limeade
Fresh cherry limeade - a sweet and tangy summertime drink for cooling off those hot afternoons!
Ingredients
- ½ cup lime juice about 8 juicy lemons, freshly squeezed
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- ⅓ - ½ cup cherry syrup (I used Grenadine)
Instructions
- In a pitcher stir together lime juice, sugar, and water until sugar is dissolved.
- Add 1/3 cup cherry syrup, taste, and add more syrup if desired. Chill 1 hour before serving OR serve with ice cubes immediately.
Notes
- Pro tip: Use the limeade to make ice cubes, then serve with cherry limeade ice cubes instead of regular water ice cubes to keep from watering your juice down as the ice melts.
