The Cherry Margarita mixes frozen, thawed cherries blended smooth with silver tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, cherry juice, and optionally simple syrup for sweetness. This cocktail combines tart and sweet cherry flavors with citrus brightness and the warmth of tequila and orange liqueur. Ingredients
- 16 oz cherries frozen, pitted, thawed overnight (save juices
- 1 ½ cups tequila silver
- 1 cup Cointreau
- 1 cup lime juice fresh
- 1 cup cherry juice I used R.W. Knudsen. Use can also use sweetened juice, unsweetened
- simple syrup to taste or agave
- lime for garnish
- cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Blend thawed cherries in a blender on high speed until pulverized.
- Add all ingredients to a pitcher with ice and stir well.
- Serve with fresh limes and cherries.
