Ingredients
- 2 slices white bread
- 1 - 2 tsp. margarine
- 1/4 cup cherry pie filling
Instructions
Spread the margarine on one side of each piece of bread.
- Lay the first slice of bread butter side down onto the mountain pie iron.
- Add the cherry pie filling to the center of the piece of bread. Leave plenty of space around all of the edges.
- Add the second slice of bread on top of the pie filling with the butter side up.
- Close the mountain pie maker and place into the fire. Once the first side is toasted, flip the iron and toast the other side. Watch it closely to make sure it doesn't burn.
- Flip out onto a plate and let cool for about 10 minutes. It will be piping hot. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you have some available.
