Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes quartered
  • 1/2 small red onion finely diced
  • 1 Jalapeño seeded and minced
  • 1/3 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice or juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt plus more to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper plus more to taste

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the quartered cherry tomatoes, finely diced red onion, minced jalapeño, minced garlic, and chopped cilantro.
  2. Drizzle the mixture with lime juice and season with salt and black pepper. Stir well to combine and adjust the seasonings as needed.
  3. Serve immediately, or chill the salsa in the refrigerator before serving to let the flavors meld.
