Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 large chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 medium green cabbage cored and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes, stirring often. Remove chicken and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the onion for 3 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook uncovered, stirring often, for 10-15 minutes until the cabbage is soft, or to your desired tenderness.
  4. Mix in the minced garlic and paprika, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stir well, and cook until heated through. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the stir-fry hot.
