Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta
Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta combines shredded chicken, rotini pasta, and cheddar cheese in a creamy, ranch-flavored sauce enriched with cream cheese and chicken broth. It’s topped with crispy bacon for texture and a savory bite, resulting in a comforting pasta dish full of familiar creamy and savory flavors.
Ingredients
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing seasoning mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese cut into 1 inch pieces, softened
- 2 cups chicken shredded
- 2 cups rotini pasta uncooked
- 1½ cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 6 lices Bacon cooked and crumbled
Instructions
- Whisk 3 cups chicken broth and 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix in a large skillet over medium heat, until well blended.
- Add 8 ounces cream cheese and cook 1-2 minutes.
- Add 2 cups shredded chicken, 2 cups uncooked pasta, and 1 cup of your cheese, and bring to a boil. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 16-18 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Once pasta is tender, top with 6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon and remaining cheese and serve warm. ENJOY!
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the microwave.
- To freeze, increase chicken broth to 4 cups and ranch seasoning to 2.5 tablespoons, and use 10 ounces of cream cheese for extra sauce.
- Cook pasta to al dente (about 10 minutes) before freezing to maintain proper texture when reheated.
- Thaw frozen portions fully before reheating slowly on the stovetop, covering and stirring occasionally until heated through.
- Add bacon and cheese as a finishing touch after reheating for best texture and flavor.
