Ingredients

  • 12 pieces hawaiian rolls
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 3 cups chicken cooked and diced see notes
  • 12 ounces Bacon cooked and chopped, we used a full package of bacon see notes
  • 6 lices Colby jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted, we used salted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese grated

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil and spray lightly with spray cooking oil
  2. Slice the rolls in half the long way into sandwiches, leaving the rolls connected in two large pieces. Place the bottom piece of the rolls on the sheet pan.
  3. Add ranch over the bottom half of the rolls, spreading evenly.
  4. Add cooked chicken and bacon to the sandwiches. Top the meat with slices of cheese, overlapping as needed.
  5. Add the roll tops to the top of the sandwich. Mix together melted butter and garlic salt. Brush the melted butter on the tops of rolls generously.
  6. Cover the sliders with a large piece of aluminum foil. Bake the sliders for 15 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes. Then sprinkle with parmesan cheese, before serving and enjoying!

Notes

  • We used the meat from a whole rotisserie chicken, which is about 3 cups. You can use any cooked chicken you prefer, or even layer deli chicken lunch meat.
  • We sometimes use precooked bacon, I really like Costco's precooked bacon pieces that comes already chopped. You'll need about a cup and a half of bacon if using precooked bacon. I recommend crisping the bacon up a little in a pan before adding it to the sandwiches. I only recommend using real bacon pieces, not bacon bits.
  • I've used a baking sheet but you can also use a casserole dish for this recipe as long as it's large enough to fit the rolls.
