Chicken Korma

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion Finely diced
  • 500 g chicken
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp coconut powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder Haldi
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 100 ml yoghurt
  • 100 ml double cream

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat up the oil on medium heat until hot.
  2. Add the finely diced onions and cook for 4-5 minutes until softened.
Add the ginger and garlic paste, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the salt, turmeric, garam masala, and coriander powder and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes.
  5. Add the coconut, and sugar and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the yoghurt and double cream and cook for 6-8 minutes.
  7. Serve with a peshwari naan and enjoy!
