Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¾ cup carrot shredded
  • ⅓ cup green onion diced
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce or store-bought, homemade
  • 12 butterhead lettuce washed, leaves
  • rice noodles for serving, fried
  • red cabbage for serving, fried

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large skillet. Add 1 ½ pounds ground chicken and cook through until no longer pink.
  2. Stir in ½ cup Homemade Teriyaki Sauce,1 teaspoon garlic, ½ teaspoon ground ginger, ¾ cup carrots, and ⅓ cup green onion,.
  3. Cook and warm through for 5 minutes.
  4. Add a spoonful of the mixture into each of the 12 butterhead lettuce leaves,serve with desired toppings, and enjoy!
