Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground chicken
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1/4 yellow onion , minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley , chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix ground chicken, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, black pepper, oregano, basil, egg and breadcrumbs until just combined.
  2. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
  3. Add vegetable oil into large heavy skillet on medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the chicken meatballs in small batches for 5-6 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Serve with marinara sauce and pasta.
