Chicken Parmesan Casserole
This super easy Chicken Parm Casserole is the perfect crazy weeknight dinner! Such a super easy and tasty meal that everyone will love! Cooked chicken, pasta, spaghetti sauce, cheeses, and Italian seasoning, a super delicious casserole that takes under an hour to make!
Ingredients
- 16 ounces penne pasta
- 1 pound chicken shredded, cooked
- 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded and divided
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese shredded and divided
- 32 ounces spaghetti sauce
- parsley optional, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° and Cook the pasta accordingly to the package and drain.
- In a large bowl add the cooked pasta, chicken, Italian seasoning, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and the spaghetti sauce. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish and cover with foil. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and uncover the foil, top with the remaining cheeses all over. Bake again for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Top with chopped parsley (optional) serve and enjoy!!
Notes
- marinara sauce
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days
- You can shred the chicken or chunk it up whichever way works.
- You can use spaghetti or marinara sauce.
- Want some spice? Add some red pepper flakes!
- You can use any shape of pasta you’d like.
