Chicken Taquitos (Baked)

Baked chicken taquitos are cheesy, crunchy and delicious! Served with your favorite toppings, these taquitos are a perfect meal.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chicken , cooked & shredded
  • 1 cup prepared salsa , your favourite brand
  • 1 cup Monterey jack cheese , shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese , shredded
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 12 small flour tortillas , approximately 6 inch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 9x13 baking sheet with non-stick spray or line with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken, salsa, cheese and taco seasoning until well combined.
  4. Spread 3-4 tablespoons of chicken along the middle of a tortilla then roll it up. Place the taquito seam side down on the baking sheet and repeat with remaining filling and tortillas.
  5. Depending on the size of your tortillas you should get 10-12 taquitos.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes until the filling is hot, cheese is melted and taquitos are lightly crispy and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve with your favorite toppings.
