Ingredients

  • 500 gms chicken tikka 1.1 lbs
  • ½ onion cut in thick pieces
  • ½ green bell pepper cut in 2.5 cm (1 inch) pieces
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 3 green cardamom
  • 1 black cardamom
  • 3 cloves
  • 2.5 cm cinnamon stick 1 inch piece
  • 2 onion finely chopped, big
  • 500 ml tomato puree passata
  • 2 tbsp cashew nuts ground
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 ½ tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder or more
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Coriander fresh leaves
  • salt to taste
