Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza- Naan Pizza
Naan makes the perfect base for this delicious and easy to make Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza. A naan pizza is convenient and delicious, too.
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 inch ginger peeled, fresh
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric dried
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 156 ml tomato paste low sodium, canned
- 2 tablespoon peanut oil or vegetable oil
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite sized pieces
- ½ cup yogurt plain, Greek
- 6 naan bread
- 1 cup tomatoes halved, cherry or grape
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese grated
- ½ cup cilantro or flat leaf parsley, chopped, fresh
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine garlic, ginger, garam masala, turmeric, paprika, salt, chilli flakes and tomato paste
- Process until smooth
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium high
- Add chicken pieces, cooking until browned, about 5 minutes
- Add spice and tomato paste mixture, stirring until fragrant
- Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in yogurt
- Simmer about 5 minutes
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment
- Assemble pizzas: divide chicken tikka masala over each naan bread
- Top each pizza with tomato halves, then cheese
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling
- Garnish pizzas with cilantro or parsely
Notes
- Add more chilli flakes if you prefer more spice
