Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza- Naan Pizza

Naan makes the perfect base for this delicious and easy to make Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza. A naan pizza is convenient and delicious, too.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch fresh ginger peeled
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon dried turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 156 ml can low sodium tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon peanut or vegetable oil
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite sized pieces
  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt
  • 6 naan breads
  • 1 cup Cherry or grape tomatoes halved
  • ½ cup grated Mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro or flat leaf parsley

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine garlic, ginger, garam masala, turmeric, paprika, salt, chilli flakes and tomato paste
  2. Process until smooth
  3. In a skillet, heat oil over medium high
  4. Add chicken pieces, cooking until browned, about 5 minutes
  5. Add spice and tomato paste mixture, stirring until fragrant
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in yogurt
  7. Simmer about 5 minutes
  8. Preheat oven to 350°
  9. Line a large baking sheet with parchment
  10. Assemble pizzas: divide chicken tikka masala over each naan bread
  11. Top each pizza with tomato halves, then cheese
  12. Bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling
  13. Garnish pizzas with cilantro or parsely

Notes

  • Add more chilli flakes if you prefer more spice
