Chicken Wing Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup hot sauce such as Frank's Red Hot
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place butter in a small saucepan with garlic.
  2. Cook over medium low heat until melted and fragrant.
  3. Add hot sauce and vinegar if using, whisk until smooth. Remove from the heat and cool before using.

Notes

  • Optional additions:

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • Do not boil the butter or it will separate.
  • The sauce will thicken slightly as it cools.
  • Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
