Chinese Fried Peanuts

Ingredients

  • 100 g fresh peanuts with skin
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • pinch of salt for garnishing , to taste
  • 1 tsp. liquor , like vodka

Instructions

  1. Rinse peanuts and drain.
  2. Add peanuts along with the oil to a pan and then turn on the fire to medium slow fire. Shake your pan and stir the peanuts from time to time.
  3. After 4-5 minutes, there will be “pa” sound in the pan. Turn off the heat and shake the pan for another minute. Transfer out and filter any oil.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of liquor and garnish salt. Mix well. Serve after completely cooled down.

Notes

  • Add some white spirit can keep the peanuts crispy after 2 or 3 days. If you are making a small batch, you can skip it.
