Chipotle Ranch Dressing Recipe

This Chipotle Ranch Dressing Recipe, made with buttermilk ranch and zesty chipotle, is the perfect accompaniment for dipping or tossing.

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe for ranch about 2 cups
  • 1 chipotle pepper finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons adobo sauce

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Make the ranch dressing in a medium-sized bowl and briefly set it aside.
  2. Finely mince 1 to 2 chipotle peppers, depending on how much spice you like.
  3. Add the chipotle peppers and 2 to 3 tablespoons of the adobo sauce to the ranch.
  4. Mix well using a whisk.

Notes

  • Make-Ahead: You can make this chipotle ranch up to 3 days ahead. You can serve this immediately, but more flavors will come out with time.
  • How to Store: Place in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. This will not freeze.
  • You can add lime juice to the ranch dressing, but if you ask me, the buttermilk provides plenty of tangy notes.
