Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados pitted and peeled
  • 5 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacao
  • ½ cup (125g) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 4 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Small pinch of sea salt
For the fruit skewers
  • 4 large handfuls of mixed fruit such as strawberries, grapes, mango, kiwi
  • 6 skewers

Instructions

  1. Whiz the avocado, cocoa, milk, maple syrup, vanilla and salt in a blender or small food processor until smooth. If necessary, add a little extra milk to thin to a dipping consistency. Keep refrigerated until ready to eat.
  2. Cut any large pieces of fruit into bite-sized pieces. Thread the fruit onto skewers and serve alongside the chocolate dip.
