Chocolate Banana Smoothie Bowl

This Chocolate Banana Smoothie Bowl is a healthy and satisfying breakfast that tastes like a decadent dessert. Made with peanut butter and bananas, it’s delicious on its own or served with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup milk dairy free milk options can be used
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 large frozen bananas ripe bananas are best for sweetness
  • optional toppings as desired

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place milk, cocoa powder, peanut butter and bananas to a high speed blender.
  2. Process on high speed. If you are having difficulties, push the mix on the side with a spoon and add 1-2 tablespoons of additional milk to the blender. Blend again.
  3. Top as desired and serve or freeze immediately.

Notes

  • Always add milk first then other ingredients.
  • Prepare your toppings first then blend smoothie.
  • Storage: You can make ahead of time, then keep in the freezer if desired. Remove 5 minutes from the freezer before serving. You can also add all ingredients except the milk in a ziplock plastic bag and store in the freezer to make at another time.
