Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 5 medium banana over-ripe
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 teaspoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a small bowl, add the bananas and the baking soda and mash together with a fork.  Set aside for now.
  3. In a separate, medium-sized bowl, add the eggs, vegetable oil, and milk and mix together.
  4. Add the flour, sugar, and salt and continue mixing.  The batter will be a little dry at this point.
  5. Add the banana/ baking soda mixture to the batter and stir until thoroughly mixed.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased or lined bread pan and bake for approximately 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick is removed clean.
