Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

This incredible dessert has all of the best things about a chocolate chip cookie in golden, buttery pie form! Chocolate chip cookie pie is a must-make that your family will go crazy over!

Ingredients

  • 1 inch refrigerated pie crust
  • 3/4 cup Butter, slightly softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° Farenheit.
  2. Prepare the pie crust by placing in an 8 or 9-inch pie dish. Crimp the edges and set aside while you prepare the filling.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the vanilla and eggs and mix just until combined.
  5. Add the flour and salt and mix just until the wet and dry ingredients are incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon the filling into the unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle a few additional chocolate chips on top if you would like.
  7. Bake for about 50 minutes or until knife inserted about half way from center of pie comes out clean.
  8. Allow the pie to cool for at least about an hour before serving.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature and always with ice cream on top!
