Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter , softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. To your stand mixer add the butter, brown sugar and sugar and beat until light and fluffy before adding in the eggs one at a time.
  2. Add in the vanilla, flour, baking soda and salt until just barely combined on low speed.
  3. Refrigerate the dough for 4 hours.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop 2-tablespoon-sized cookie dough balls on to baking sheets, spreading 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set and golden brown.
