Chocolate Chip Pecan Shortbread Cookies
Chocolate Chip Pecan Shortbread Cookies are rich, sweet, buttery, crumbly, melt in your mouth shortbread cookies with chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup pecans toasted, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, using a mixer, beat together the butter and confectioners' sugar. Mix in the vanilla and salt. Add flour one cup at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans until evenly distributed through the batter. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. Place each cookie 2 inches apart onto a cookie sheet. Flatten each cookie with a fork.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until a light golden brown.
