Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans

These chocolate covered coffee beans are the perfect pick-me-up treat for after dinner or early in the morning. Or whenever you need a bit of extra energy.

Ingredients

  • 3.5oz (100g) Dark Chocolate bar (1 bar)
  • 1/3 cup Coffee beans or espresso beans

Instructions

  1. Break the dark chocolate into smaller pieces and using a double boiler melt the chocolate until smooth and fully melted.
  2. Add the coffee beans into the melted chocolate and let set a bit.
  3. Using two forks, take out the coffee beans and place individually on a parchment sheet or silicon baking mat.
  4. Move the chocolate covered coffee beans to the fridge for 15-20 minutes or until set. You can also let the chocolate harden on the counter but it will take a lot longer.
  5. Store coffee beans in an air tight jar in a cool place.
