Ingredients

  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 pint strawberries

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add the heavy cream and chocolate chips to a greased slow cooker, stirring to combine. Cook on high for 30ish minutes, stirring intermittently, until the chocolate is melted.
  2. While the chocolate melts, cut the pineapple, slice the bananas and cut the ends off of the strawberries. (See this article for tips on how to cut a pineapple.)
  3. Once the chocolate is done, either remove from heat and serve immediately or turn to warm and keep warm until serving. Serve melted chocolate on a platter with a spoon surrounded by the sliced fruit. Give each guest a plate and a fork and let them serve themselves.

Notes

  • If you don't have a small slow cooker, you can melt your chocolate in a small saucepan over medium heat. Just watch it closely and stir it often while it is melting.
