- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 5/8 cup coffee
- 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
Instructions
- Put the butter in a microwave-safe coffee mug and melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until it is completely melted.
- Once it is melted, stir in the sugar.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder to the mug. Stir to mix well.
- Pour in the coffee into the cup and stir until no lumps remain. Then add the chocolate chips.
- Microwave for about 90 seconds until the top looks cooked and springs back when touched.
- Top the chocolate mug cake with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, raspberries, or more chocolate chips.
