This chocolate peppermint smoothie is creamy, chocolatey and perfect for the holidays. It tastes like dessert, but is protein-packed and loaded with healthy ingredients and makes for a great breakfast or post-workout treat.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup almond milk plus more as needed to thin, or oat milk
  • ½ banana frozen
  • ½ cup cauliflower florets frozen
  • 1 coop vegan chocolate protein powder 25 grams, I used Nuzest
  • ½ Tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 Medjool date
  • spinach optional, handful
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • cacao nibs for topping
  • candy canes for topping, or peppermint candies

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and top with cacao nibs and peppermint candies.
