Chocolate Syrup Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder unsweetened, I used Hershey’s
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ¾ cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, mix together the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir in the water.
- Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and continue to simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Allow the syrup to cool and pour it into a glass jar or bottle.
