Chopped Italian Sandwiches
Delicious easy sandwiches loaded with Italian salad - deli meat, cheese, and a zesty Italian dressing!
Ingredients
- 3 sub roll or hoagie roll
- 5 lices mozzarella cheese
- 5 lices pepperoni
- 5 lices salami
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 ham large or 6 small slices
- ½ cup onion red, chopped
- ½ cup baby pepper chopped
- ½ cup pepperoncini pepper chopped
- 8 lices tomato around 1 medium tomato, beef tomatoes are best
- 1 cup lettuce shredded
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Begin by chopping all the ingredients - mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, salami, ham.
- Combine the chopped meats and cheese in a mixing bowl with shredded lettuce, onions, and peppers.
- Chop tomatoes and add them to the bowl, then pour in red wine vinegar.
- Add olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix everything together until well combined. Then blend in mayo and mustard.
- Halve the sub rolls or hoagie rolls and generously layer them with our vibrant chopped medley. Seal it all off with the top roll and enjoy your mouthwatering Italian chopped sandwich!
