Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 yellow onion , finely chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef , (85/15)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl add the egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt and black pepper and whisk well to combine.
  2. Add in the breadcrumbs and onions, mix well.
  3. Add in the ground beef, stir to combine.
  4. Add vegetable oil to a large skillet on medium-high heat.
  5. Shape the beef into 4 oval patties.
  6. Add to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
