Ingredients
- 1 leeve saltine crackers (about 40 crackers)
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 2 cup chocolate chips (any variety but I like milk chocolate best)
- 1 cup chopped pecans or other nuts (optional)
Notes
- In refrigerator up to 2 weeks
- Room temperature for up to 7 days (crackers will start to get stale or soggy).
- In the freezer for up to 4 months.
- Store the saltine cracker toffee in a sealed bag or container.
