Cilantro sauce
Cilantro sauce is the easiest sauce to make at home. Packed with flavor, it's the perfect dip with tortilla chips and is delicious on everything from chicken taco bowls to quesadillas, enchiladas and tacos.
Ingredients
- 3 cups cilantro fresh coriander
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1-2 jalapeños remove the seeds if you prefer a milder sauce
- 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp neutral cooking oil avocado oil/extra-virgin olive oil, generic cooking oil
- 2-3 tsp lime juice
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor or in a blender then blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Serve.
