Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup buttermilk
- ¾ cup whole milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- Additional butter for waffle maker
- Blueberries and syrup for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Whisk in the melted butter.
- Heat the waffle maker according to manufacturer’s instructions. Lightly coat the waffle maker with butter and add an appropriate amount of waffle batter for your cooker. Cook according to your manufacturer’s instructions.
- Serve warm with additional butter, blueberries (if desired), and syrup.
