Cinnamon Chili Spice Rub Recipe
Makes a little more than 1 ½ tablespoons. I recommend to use about 1 teaspoon per 4 ounces of butternut squash or poultry.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Hungarian paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix until well combined.
- Store in an airtight container in a dark, cool and dry place, such as the kitchen pantry.

- How to use this spice rub on butternut squash: Peel and cube butternut squash, then toss with a little bit of vegetable oil and the spice rub. Roast on a baking sheet in the oven at 400 degrees F.
- How to use this spice rub on poultry: Pat the meat dry using paper towels, then rub with a little bit of vegetable oil. Sprinkle the dry rub on the meat, then roast in a hot cast iron pan in the oven at 400 degrees F.
